I tend to be rather unconventional, and am more comfortable with dogs than people. Most of what I know of human interaction comes from watching hallmark movies. I like cars, but I love changing them. On the RF I did headers, exhaust(dual center with diffuser), tune, lighter wheels and pilot sports, coilovers, short shift kit, weighted shifter, miata club body kit, 2 different custom made steering wheels (one D shaped one round)
Funny- while all my friends are in med school, law school or something "respectable" to society- Im the black sheep who writes music for a living, travel the world on some one else's wallet, and buy new rides every year too.

I also bail on them most of the time to hang out with my dog or go to the gym on most weekends.

In other words- you're pretty cool. Cause I think I'm pretty cool.

Thanks I appreciate that, I do not sleep much either so I get a few hours head start on everyone. I have two computers running using voice commands to search out whatever enters my mind, I just learned how to make homemade pickles. The 4C arrived yesterday, only had time for a quick spin (cannot use dynamic or race mode till the car gets past 155 miles). Hard to compare it to anything yet but very minimalistic I am lucky I am 5'8 152lbs since I cannot imagine a big person being comfortable in the seats. I think it is pretty easy to get in and out of, though very low to the ground. tunes out there that will take this thing to 320WHP and 313WTQ (they use a cloned ECU so you just swap them out), much I may end up doing.

Not to go off topic but, it takes courage to go off the beaten path. The only respect one needs in life is from within - knowing that we are living our life to its fullest and living it with no regrets.

As for challenges that's been thrown our way, There's an old Dutch saying that goes something like this: "It's not about the bad hand that's been dealt to you. It's everything about playing that particular hand well." MrBreezenovel, you definitely have turned yours into a winning hand.

In my book, both of you rock!

Not even sure there is a name for the path I have taken, from homeless (beaten with a baseball bat for my shoes and stabbed twice) to ordering new Ferrari's. Just like the license plate frame on the i8 says I sum it up with this "What a long strange trip its been"

Well said! Congrats on your accomplishments. Any pics of your entire current garage? I'm sure it's sublime!

Wow. What's the key to your success? The amount of money you've spent on cars must be enormous.

I am afraid it would take way too long and far too many posts to tell the whole story, but I am writing a book about my life with Autism called The Man in the Mirror. I have managed to overcome many of the issues people with my condition face and have learned (for the most part ) to live among normal people and not let Autism beat me. I am hoping I can help others who are like me try and live a more normal life. I am very lucky to have met an amazing woman who has helped me for the last 7 years become the best me I can be. Yes I have probably spent a couple small fortunes on cars (and even more doing modifications to them)
