I've had two i8s now that I've expressed interest in with the dealer, subsequently sold a few days later.
Of course those two were the color scheme I've been looking for, and with a lower advertised price. FWIW...I'm looking for sophisto gray/blue stripe. |

Wanting to join the i8 family, where to go?
I'm seeking to lease an i8, for anywhere between 12-36 months. Is swapalease the best bet? Are any dealers wanting to move their inventory? The local guy thinks his aged, 700 mile, march of '16 unit is only worth $5k off, and that seems illogical to me.
Any advice? There's so much info on this board... I'm hoping this post is ok in this thread. Prefer: -turbines (ok with W) -grey, white, silver in that order, blue or grey accents. -Giga, base w/lasers, or mega is fine. (Base is fine if you tell me I don't need the giga/mega cornering lights or lasers) Do 16's have anything 15's don't? Is the 15's maintenance transferable while the 16's not? Thank you all very much. I'll continue searching the board! Best, |

Gonna let my i8 go between now and August. White with blue trim and Spice Grey leather/cloth seats and turbine wheels. MSRP was around $144K I think. Lease is 10k/36 months and started June 2016. Lease has another 26 months to go and is way under mileage. It will probably be over 5000 miles under limit by the time the first year anniversary is up in June this year. Also have Display Key which is impossible to get on any i8 in the US. Payment is around $1244 before your local tax.
Email me if interested. carholic@verizon.net Thanks.

No prob. Just got a few offers to today. I don't think I will even need to use swap-a-lease.

Would anyone have any insight on the value of a co-signer assuming my credit score is lower than 600?
23, online business owner, no auto-loan history. 5 figures gross/per month. I don't have much credit to my name - unfortunately. cosigner: Doctor, just bought a $2.2M house, leases a Mercedes (currently), had a Tesla in the past. I'm trying to figure out ways how I can show BMW Financial Services my proof of income to ensure qualification and not waste any time. Any help would be appreciated. Looking to takeover a lease in California ASAP for the summer! Best, SFtechie Last edited by sftechie; 04-17-2017 at 07:17 AM.. |

So, do you recommend me hustling a dealer down instead of taking over a lease? ($2-5k extra out of pocket)?
Or as Olive Queens puts it, go into the dealer with my cosigner and getting approved firsthand -- then try taking over a lease. Would there be a difference in any sort of qualification as I assume someone's lease thereafter? Beverly Hills BMW has 3 Protonic Red ones instock. I don't know if I can walk away paying $0 at 1300/mo - BMW took down all their current lease offers on web as well. Quote:
