iX genuine brake upgrade. Full stop.
That battery pack under your ride adds weight, you know?
For example, the i20 in the photos is about 2.4 tons, so stopping this behemoth will take some good deal of force, and we need to ensure proper equipment for that. That may not be the case for everyone, but in an area like Hong Kong, where I'm located, traffic can be a pain in the butt at certain hours, resulting in using your brake kit quite often, so take its marketing with a grain of salt. Alright, so the new system is a 4 POT 395mm / 1 POT 370mm, with a larger area of friction, genuine parts, with assurance that it'll meet vehicle inspection standards. For a more personal touch, my customer went with Rallye Green for the calipers, which we obliged. Here's the current status: |

I don't like the green color for almost any BMW spec color exterior.
Also I don't think the average driver needs better more aggressive breaking system. Lots of money for that outfit I am sure. |

We do get abundant traffic in Hong Kong. You can search for any YouTube video following one car, to see how many times they brake. Take this for example: As for the color, I don't judge the individual preference. If that's what my customer likes, that's what my customer gets (unless it's not safe/fit for his model in which case I'll inform them). As for the price, you can see my listing here. Just keep in mind that it may be in HKD, not USD, depending on browser cookies: https://icarmix.com/product/genuine-...ar-370mmx24mm/ Yes, we do ship worldwide. |

If you’re using B, then physical braking is a lot less. Obviously when you’re doing a ton of spiral parking lots, there will be lots of physical braking.
I can’t really see braking force being a problem in the iX, especially in HK with such low speeds unless you’re racing from Lantau to Tsuen Wan (or street racing on 公主道 like the old days) and don’t care about speed cams. You may go through more brake pads which is a durability issue, but to each their own. |

I use B mode and rarely have to use the brake. It is great when in traffic.
