i3 Coding help in DFW area

I am looking for someone to help with coding in the DFW area, I am actually located in Granbury TX.
I have the OBD2-Ethernet cord and the program on my computer, but cannot get the connection with my I3. I am sure I am doing something incorrectly and would pay up to $150 for someone to get me going on my computer and teach me the process. I am not looking for someone to just do the process for me, I really need to know how to do it myself so I can code it again after a software update.

I can't help you in DFW (moved out of there ~15 years ago), but if you PM me the e-Sys screen shot of where you are stuck, I will be happy to help you trouble shoot remotely.

If it's "Open Connection" screen, do make sure that you are selecting "Connection via VIN" option. Others don't work.

HTH,

Great thank you for the response, here is my screen shot, I erased the last couple letters of my vin. I know the computer is seeing the car, because it has the vin in the program, but their are not options in the drop down menu

You either are missing Psdzdata completely or did not correctly extract to appropriate location.

Thank you all for the responses, I will post an update as soon as I have made another attempt at it. I would still love to find someone who does BMW coding in the DFW area.

Agreed.

Also note, that once you download the latest psdzdata archive (required for post Nov-16 software update anyway), it may not be compatible with the old eSys software. So download and install eSys as well.
