Appreciate the pictures. Do you have anything a little more "normal", or does everything have to look like bling bling sneakers worn with a tuxedo? ;-)

Believe or not, Frozen iLectric Blue is the most popular HRE finish for the BMW i8...but there are some who've gone a different route. We found photos of one such example and have shared them below.

Please note, we can always render something up to your preferences - shoot us a PM and we'll be happy to assist!

Just curious, why do we never see any pricing? What is the total cost? do we need to buy new TPM's? new Tires? are there any guarantees or warranties? just curious

There are a couple reasons why pricing isn't listed. Firstly Bimmerpost prohibits pricing to be posted when it's a non-commercial post (this is a gallery thread). Secondly, we're not a direct to retail/consumer company, so in fact we wouldn't be doing the selling to begin with, we would just direct you to dealers/distributors within your region who can assist. If you have any more questions in regards to that specifically, just send me a message, I don't mind answering your questions.

Every HRE Forged and FlowForm wheel comes with a Lifetime Limited Structural Warranty and 2 Year Finish Warranty for as long as the original purchaser owns the wheels. This warranty is not transferable to any future parties.

The blue wheels draw all the attention from the car to the wheels. I guess some people like that.

I put on gun metal wheels last year and am actually thinking about going blue too since it just fits with the car INHO. However, I would prefer a much lighter or less glossy blue to not draw all of the attention to the wheels. It is winter in Chicago so I got time to think about it more.....unfortunately.

Did you guys use spacers on any of these setups? What are the front and rear offsets?

No spacers. These are all custom offsets.

Spacers are a bad word, at least in our shop. None of our i8 setups used them; these are all custom made forged wheels from HRE that are specifically designed to fit each customer's model specific vehicle. In addition, HRE does not divulge offsets for their forged offerings freely.
