I'm always shocked that these car companies haven't figured out to just make replaceable or exchangeable batteries. Ten minutes in and out with a full charge.

Probably cost prohibitive to set it all up.

They have. Tesla can swap a battery in 90 seconds. http://money.cnn.com/2013/06/21/auto...wap/index.html

Thank you Scott and Jason, I will keep you updated! And great blog tommolog, very informative and I will read it every day

Do you know if it has got an electric heater that may heat the interior while charging the car? Leaf (second best selling car in Oslo ) and i-Miev got it now.

Yes, you can precondition the battery and interior anytime it is plugged in - heat or air conditioning. Thank you for for blog compliment!

I would buy it if
1) range would be double
2) batteries would their charge better in cold climate (like proper winter in scandinavia - I think it's 100 mile range is more like 30mil in minus 20C winter we have)

I drive very little so that's why I can afford to have a 3l 265hp coupe. I look at my consumption and it is silly high figures due to short driving. Surely if I could be in this modern CFRP shell of a car I'd love to. Bring it on!

PS. Iphone, Ipad + Apple TV. Yup, i'm their target client apparently.
