Thank you but that mid-November/December money factor was so sweet - 0.192% after MSDs!

BMW is still running the 0.00111 MF (2.66% APR), 53% residual, and $9,900 incentive lease program. And dealers are still able/encouraged to discount another ~10%. So, yeah, I would say now is still a really good time to lease anywhere.

Great score - well done. I just did the credit report for a 2024 iX with MSRP of $97,700 on 36/10K with only drive off at $930 per month. I thought I did well! |

The variables affecting TCO are MSRP, discount off of MSRP, any applicable incentives (some taxable, others not), money factor (effectively the APR that you’re borrowing $ at), lease length and annual mileage which affect the lease residual, how much $ you put down, any auxiliary fees (some dealers get shady and throw higher margin stuff in here eg PPF, ceramic coating, tints - so you need to look out for those if you don’t want them). So yes, the monthly payment is a key metric (affected by variables above, including MF), but it may or may not tell the whole story ie the TCO. |

What do you mean with only drive off? First month and fees paid upfront? If so, I think you can do better than $930 per month. Basically, you should try to get 10% off MSRP which is possible on the West coast even without a lease broker.

Also if I have submitted a credit report but not signed any documents how obligated am I? I feel bad to say I want it and walk away. Last edited by HybridLA; 03-09-2024 at 11:24 AM.. |

Congrats !!! What was the MF? I seen a lot of brokers quoting 10-11% off MSRP but the MF is high - 0.00109 vs 0.00069. Also curious if many of the folks r getting the high 10% off without a broker.

I'm deciding between leasing a 24' in the next couple of months or custom order a 25'. Any idea when the 25' lease program will become available?
I pulled the lease numbers from Edumunds from 23' onwards. If last year's trend is to be repeated, looks like lease deals only get better after October. That's a long way out. If I am looking at my numbers correctly, ix50's RV (10/36) changes between 53% and 54%. This seems a bit strange. I thought RV is always fixed. Did I get my numbers right? |
