Custom Painted Turbine Wheels

     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
My new custom satin iBlue/gloss Crystal white hexagon/gloss black turbines.

Stock turbines refinished with paint and diamond cut.

This has been a project of mine for a while.

keeping the stock look and taking to 11!!!

I'm thinking of doing W turbines next (in any colour) so if anybody is interested to buy please PM me.

I used to live nr Sherborne in a small Dorset village close by the River Yeo.

HI All,

Im am offering this set of rims for sale.

Please PM if interested.

To sum up. They are OEM turbine wheels but effectively have had the front face painted and sealed in satin iBlue and then diamond cut.

They really set-off the look of blue accents.

Selling as my lease is coming to an end soon.

did you power coat it? if so, does power coating damage the structure of the rims?

oem diamond cut wheels are powder coated. so they acid strip the rim powdercoat it black and then diamond cut the front face. This is what gives you the sharp edge.

That's interesting. Mine were neither powder coated, nor diamond cut.

They were simply painted black, then masked off and the blue painted on.

It's a shame they won't suit a red car without returning to standard as I'm looking for a set for winter tyres.
