NL BMW i8 Protonic Blue - Halo Dalbergia Braun
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com My last new BMW was a M5 V10 (e60) and after that I was a little bit done with BMW when they started by putting Turbo engines in every new M model. But that was until I saw the i8 on the IAA in Frankfurt, I fell completely in love with the looks of the car and I really couldn't care what kind of engine was in it, I just had to have it, so I called my dealer and placed an order while I was still drooling at the car that was on display. Long story short, after months of waiting it finally arrived at the dealer on September the 16th. As it's a Dutch spec First Edition it's full option besides homelink which I added. It also has the optional Halo Dalbergia Braun Interior. Time for some pictures! I like the BMW i Remote App, works brilliantly. Sometimes there are some cars around that draw even a larger crowd. . Freshly tinted windows, they let you park right in front of the hotel, cool feature! First road trip, Paris, Eurodisney! More than enough room for the little one to get some sleep after a long day with Mickey and Donald. Very cool, when you unlock the car it's blue and when you open the door it turns to normal white. First impressions..... what great car!! I don't have to use it as a daily but I can't stop driving it. I would go on a trip to Germany this weekend with my Ferrari F430 but I think I'll leave it at home and take the i8 instead, I LOVE the F430 so that says a lot. |

Beautiful car and pictures! I an having my second house built as we speak, which I added the additional 4th garage, and it's slowly being determined this will be what occupies that space. Though the M3 is my halo BMW. I am beginning to feel this might just take that honor.

Congrats on a amazing car.
Allthough i haven't had the pleasure of driving the i8 yet, i've seen one in person and heard it pulling hard, what an amazing sound it makes. I'm testdriving the 2 series active tourer as we speak for an BMW website, and it does have the exciting I3 petrol. Surely not even close, but the sound it makes makes gives a grin on your face. Park the Ferrari, the i8 have got more presence on the road, and it looks and feels more modern. Enjoy it!

Awesome!
I was in Paris recently for work and I actually saw your car parked outside the Hyatt Regency!
In fact, we were so taken with your car, my associates and I took a few pics (I hope you don't mind). |

Beautiful ride! Sounds like it's winning over a lot of porsche/ferrari drivers.

Hi, welcome on the forums!
By chance, we met on Ecomobil today. I am the IVA student that was interested in the i8 (end of the day) I'm still staggered by the beauty of this car... Have fun! (I know that won't be a problem with an i8) |
