That 420 mileage is based on the European version of EPA and they are extremely generous to say the least. I forgot what type of discount you need to take off of that.

That's easy enough to estimate.
Look at what the WLTP rating for the iX is for the current model vs what the EPA rating or real world rating or whatever rating you prefer and apply a similar correction factor to the 2025 numbers.

A quick Google search later, I find 635km (approx 400miles) WLTP and 324 miles EPA (approx 520km).

EPA figures are around 80% of the WLTP ones for what i found about the 2023 model.

So we are looking at something like a 5% ballpark for improvement in range.
I remember posting about expectations people had for the LCI and trying to convince people to expect nothing more than incremental improvements in the next few years...

I didn't mean to say you should have googled it yourself; i meant it more like I did a quick search and didn't double check the results.

Spending time with grandkids is more important that looking up range specs on a vehicle to compare model years.

No problem, I was only kidding around, grandson runs around an awful lot, number 7 for me and ain’t as easy as it used to be.
