Yes it's a nice car shame BMW put the cheap wheels on this one. I have ordered a car in this colour. Hope you are getting some orders?? Looking like end of Q1 for delivery of first REX cars?

You must be a Salesman!! Each I dealer may find customers for say 100 a year so with 40 I dealers in UK 4000 cars a year. They will therefore still not be a regular feature on the road ! BMW will need to get the cost down , if anything the initial monthly lease costs of around £425 per month once you have added a few extras or specified the REx will put a lot of people off. On top of this some of the packages for charging etc look expensive. It will remain a niche product in the UK for a long time. In the meantime BMW' s profit on this car will get squeezed as Nissan and others reduce their price to ensure they get their share of a very small market. If anything people are starting to realise that 'Green' initiatives are very expensive. I am buying one to try the new technology but it won't be a game changer until BMW can get the range of a Tesla delivered at the price of an i3

I think BMW should get a lot of credit for putting these 'i' cars into production with the details and designs straight out of a concept car. Pretty fantastic. It definitely looks like it is out of the future-----and it's MUCH better than just another generic SUV. I applaud the effort and hope to see more interesting 'i' options in the future!

as far as electric cars go---this is definitely one of the coolest. It's a waste of time to compare this to 'cheaper' options as this is clearly a premium electric car----not just a run of the mill Whole Foods-parking-lot runner meant to sell to the ordinary masses.

in dense cities with terrible parking maybe, but there are cheaper alternatives for the same solution that to me look better. its not like its a small car that can fit into smaller spaces. Smart individuals will get either a small diesel or even the chevy cruze.

The wheels are absolutely terrible. Shockingly terrible in fact. The rest is pretty good, particularly the interior.

I am not a salesman only the picture man but I am still sure there will be a healthy amount of orders before the official UK launch.

What ?

*Edit*
From specs:
Performance
Top speed fully electric in km/h
150

Acceleration 0–100 km/h in s
7.2

Elasticity 80–120 km/h in s
4.9

---> So it will out accelerate a 316i. Not an M3.
