Hi All,

Here are some pics I took of the BMW i8 at the Johannesburg International Motor Show.

Sorry for the bad quality but it was taken off my cellphone.

Thanks for sharing!

I love how the dash/center stack is so heavily oriented toward the driver, more so than on most recent Beemers.

Can't wait to see one live!

1 word... AMAZING!
Better than what I was expecting
Only criticism I have is some of the exposed carbon fibre bits look a bit cheap otherwise simply AMAZING

Thanks for posting. I had been waiting to see some photos showing the clearance for the rear seat passengers, which I knew was minimal. Having the 2+2 seating is actually a consideration for me, albeit minor, as I have 2 young children plus the wife to fit into it on occasion. Fortunately I'm not too tall, so can afford to move the driver's seat forward to provide a little more room in the rear.

Still waiting to see a photo of the again minimal trunk space. I've heard it's big enough for a couple of small pieces of luggage. Golf clubs will need to go in the back seat ;-)

I think that's because BMW uses a proprietary weaved clothe. Its not the 2x2 or 5hs pattern most people are used to seeing....

Thanx for posting the pics. I also
wanted to see more of the rear seats.
