That's actually higher than what I got for my M3 !!! https://www.bmwcca.org/vehicle_rebate The only condition is you must have been a member of BMW CCA for full 12 months prior to claiming the rebate. This will be my 4th CCA membership rebate. With this payment, I will have paid for BMW CCA lifetime membership 3x over. Never mind all the cool local (meetings, tours, autoX's, Driving Schools, etc) and national (O'fest) activities CCA offers. If you are reading this and still not a member, consider doing something about it here: www.bmwcca.org a

Start here: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1084623 Then download "Leasematic" app to your smartphone, collect and fill out the details. Details matter. All of them. A LOT. State-specific variables matter: sales tax on EVs or not? At what rate? How competitive is the local market? Should you shop out of state (if in CA/FL - probably)? Any monthly payment can be brought down to any target threshold (even $0.00, via down payments), though doing so is rarely in your interest. Occasionally, but rarely. 2017 REX with MSRP of ~$55K, sales price could be brought down to ~$41.5K. If you take advantage of all discounts, and buy down MSD, your MSD should be 0.00065, and your monthly payment will be around $318. Or higher, depending on your sales tax, how it's treated, etc, etc.

Yup, my CA traded it already and its coming to my dealership. The details are exactly the same as the screenshots I posted above. Like afadeev mentioned you will have to get all the financial details first before talking numbers as it is complicated (by design!). What I didn't post is my fleet discount which essentially gets me a further discount on the MF and another $1500 off the car and brings my payment down about $100.

So, bringing it down to $41.5k, means, 13.5K discount altogether, that shall include 7.5K Fed tax break, 1K loyalty, making it 8.5, rest 5K shall come out from the dealer as dealer discount and then we do 7MSD to bring rate to o.ooo65, am I right, to get payment down to $318 ( inc tax?) and how about upfront including 7MSD? |

bmwusa "lease offers" is updated for Feb and shows 58% residual still for 36/10k. Unless there are any new incentives or the 30 month residuals went up, doesn't look like there are any changes for Feb

These days, just about every major company has a "Fleet discount" with BMW NA. That's another ~$13/month, or $314.55 on my 24 month lease (higher on yours). Quote:
Taxes differ by state, you need to figure out what your rate will be. Here, in NJ, it's 7% on regular cars, add another 0.4% on gas guzzlers. However, it is 0.0% for farm vehicles, school buses, mobile homes, and EVs. 7 MSDs are exactly that: 7 * (you monthly payment, rounded up to the nearest $50). So for $318 monthly, 7 MSDs = 7 * 350 = $2450. You get them back as a check from BMW FS at the end of the lease. Run your own #s on the ROI for the MSD deposit. For me, it was exactly 20% annual ROI - better than I expect from any of my other investments. You can choose to pay license and registration fees upfront, or roll them into the monthly payment. Same for any other BS fees (cleaning, prep, advertising, training, tire inflating, engine cleaning, battery massaging, light bulb screwing, muffler polishing) that you did not succeed in bringing down to zero during price negotiation. a

Any beta on Memorial day lease deals in SoCal
It looks like BMW has discontinued the MSD program. It would be great if someone knows the present residual table, and MF for 'elite' credit. It would be great to know how to get the Fleet discount as a small biz owner...?
Any help would be very much appreciated! |

You either qualify with them for the advertised rates, or get handed over to higher risk vendor. That being said, the current MF and rates can be found on BMW's web site: https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offers.html For leasing, BMW FS is the way to go, since BMW subsidizing new car purchases through lower MF and higher residuals. For buying a car, you can frequently do better than BMW FS rates. Shop around. Sorry, I'm not staying up-to-date with the particulars, as I'm off the car market for the next ~18 months. Quote:
Note that Fleet and BMW CCA discounts are mutually exclusive. You can collect one or the other, but not both. In March, Fleet discount was $1.5K off the purchase price + reduction in MSDs. BMW CCA discount was only $1.0K off. Quote:
If you never owned an EV, deciding to buy one is a major obstacle, so get over that one first. Then test drive a few EVs in the market to make sure you are getting the right one for you. THEN you start shopping in earnest for a good deal. HTH, a

Not a terrible deal. $300-400 a month seems to be the sweet spot. Based on your numbers that can be achieved by getting more of a discount on the msrp. Most folks are able to get 10%-13% off msrp. It's not out of the ordinary. That'll put you in the ~$350-400 a month range.
I'm guessing you are applying the fed rebate to the selling price? If not, What is the 10k in rebates? |
