i3 Lease/Purchase Options
I've found myself interested in the i3 REx and I've started the research process. Since there are a few ways of getting into this vehicle, along with the unique rebate options and model year improvements, I'd like to get feedback on people's lease/buying experiences and a recommended path.

BMW is offering $1k rebate and .9% financing for CPO 2014 i3. And 2 additional years on the warranty.
I know this is contrary to #3 and #4 of your objectives. . . but, might change your analysis.

Also don't forget the batteries are also warrantied for 10 years as well, and that really is the biggest concern as it's the most expensive part on the car as a whole. But even if one does die out of warranty it's only a couple grand to fix, not 10k like many believe as you only need to exchange that cell not the whole battery pack, unless your upgrading your batteries, but their will be programs for that where BMW will buy back the old batteries and give you the upgraded ones so the upgrade will cost anywhere from 5k to 8k, that's why I'm gonna wait till the 200+ mile battery upgrade comes out in 2019.
