If the medical kit is in the frunk, can you still get to it if you got into a head on collision?

Good to see it in grey. Do you have a photo of the front?

Seriously! I'm surprised no one else has commented about it. It was the first thing I saw!

And, I take the opposite tack...a sunroof almost ALWAYS decreases available headroom, and for those that are tall, a nuisance, and expensive pain in the neck! On some models, that silly thing decreases headroom as much as 3", which is significant. I hate it when they package things like this, to get some fun stuff, you lose headroom, which, for me at least, means I do not fit in the car. It will be interesting when they actually show up to see whether I fit or not.

The descriptions I've read say that it maintains the battery level, once activated, so yes, I'd think if you continued to fill the tank, you could keep going. If you were lucky, one of those places would have a high capacity charger, which may happen eventually.

Maybe you never the saw the original concept but it had a full panel glass roof and the shading was created by blacking out the glass therefore not loosing headroom by adding a traditional sunshade and it simply made the car special. BMW really screwed up leaving this design element behind.

Stylistically, that whole area between the B and C pillars is just wrong to these eyes.

Thanks for sharing, first time I have seen a picture of one in that color. That's the color I have ordered mine. With shaded windows it will get pretty dark and hide some of the lines and design elements going here and there

Will get sunroof, LED lights and black interior too.

Hopefully Hartge , schnitzer or oz will make some after marked wheels before next summer! And the blue kidneys will get blacked out first day!

Thanks Touring. How can you guys tell which of the two dark greys this is? The colors look so different in the web configurator.

I have my car on order since end July, w/o any details on the contract, no color, no options, not even a price. In my country the option list isn't avail yet, despite first deliveries scheduled for Nov.

I was thinking of white, but now that I've seen this color on a real picture, I likely will go with this. What other options have you ordered?

Also, there's this nice item

Function cover*
This attractive, lightweight blanket is ideal for use inside and outside the vehicle. One side has a fleece finish and the other is waterproof so it can be used to provide protection of the luggage compartment and interior or as a picnic blanket. Elastic ribbons make it very easy to attach to the headrests while concealed openings allow use of the seatbelts.
