I would like an i3 but like the guy says the car doesn't have great steering in tight freeway traffic. I hope BMW may upgrade adding sport mode which should solve this.

My experience is that if you drive the i3 for awhile, especially as your primary car, you'll have no issue with the steering. Short wheelbases and tight turning circles with a reasonable number of turns/lock mean responsive steering.

I disagree. I don't like the steering because its way over active, but it has no issues with nimbleness, rather its jittery and acts too fast.

I found the steering lose and had to correct more often. Our 1 & 2 series drive straight with hardly no steering correction required. My wife made a comment as well about the i3 steering drifting. |

I find it to have no dead zone, so it requires constant input. But over-inflating the tires by 4-5 psi all around helped with the "tracking" that the front seemed to do to the grooves in the road. Worth a try.

In eco mode my 1 series steering is sloppy. My Z4 tram lined badly and the car had extra wide tires which was coursed by it's suspension. |
