So has anybody else had this issue?

The clear coat on my hood is Delaminating from the black paint. And the I8 in the show room was flaking paint on the a pillar.

Anybody else have any paint issues ?

Of all the bmw's I have had I've never had one with paint issues.

Is the hood plastic? Is the pillar plastic? If so try use release agents from the mold. Maybe the parts are not prepped correctly before paint. They are suppose to use an adhesion promoter.

Yea all parts are thermoplastic.

Their repainting my hood.
