Exactly.

Funny thing is the electric range is only 20 miles. So after that you have a slow a very slow 3-cylinder $100,000+ supercar.

Incorrect...the Hindenburg fiasco was due to the thermite material covering the skin of the dirigible, hence why the thing burned so fast

I am excited for the black series ///Murderer

Let's just hope BMW doesn't force its loyal entthusiasts to another brand... I could debate about rari vs lambo, but it would be prob porsche then MB when I get old... and then a royce after

My god that's awful. Here's to hoping the 2er isn't bulbous and retains some of the grunt that the 1er styling had.

I fail to see how this moves any goalposts or raises the bar with anything. Its 3300 pounds for starters. Sure that is much better than most of their offerings from a weight perspective but a corvette has weighed less than 3300 pounds for 20 years and 3300 is nothing to write home about.

It has a hybrid motor with mediocore performance by today's standards. 0-60 in 4.6 seconds is pretty average for any sportier car these days.

They could have used thish platform for a really high performance machine but to roll this out with very average performance figures and a 3300 pound weight is really nothing special in my view.

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

Still looking too much like a space ship from the rear. Doors are cool and the renders look good. But I think there is room for improvement

Have you seen hour much plastic is on a corvette? I am talking from dashboard to rear bumper. It's just not quality. CF gives wright reduction and BMW is implementing that in their vehicles.

BTW, my friend's Z06 had three transmission less than 30,000 miles on the odo.

There's only two i cars approved for production so there isn't exactly a flood of them. And the hybrids have nothing to do with the 2 series. But I agree I'm looking forward to the 2 series lineup!

Is there a car that doesn't have a plastic rear bumper? As for trying to cut down the Corvette interior, have you somehow missed the C7? I'd also think your friend is more accountable for those transmission replacements than you think, given countless Z06's with no issues with many more miles.

Not that a single soul will cross shop the i8 with any Corvette, so I'm not even sure why we're discussing this.

This is sort of like saying that a candle only burns because of the wick. Hydrogen remains cost prohibitive to isolate and is highly flammable, evaporates from storage and really doesn't make any sense for cars.
