i8 ventilation does not switch off
I have a new i8 coupe with just 30 miles on it. Dealer dropped it off as a courtesy car today, taking mine to fix the oil leak.
But this car will not switch off its internal ventilation (heating/cooling). Fans have been running for 5 hours now, and fast, no matter what I try. I've tried everything I can think of. It's as if it is continuously pre-conditioning. Has anyone had this, or know a fix please? |

Yes, just can't stop it.
Dealer is sending a technician to look at it in the morning. Hope the battery doesn't die overnight. Brand new car, so very surprising. And it was delivered like that to my home. I guess the driver didn't realise it was abnormal. |

Is it blowing hot air all the time? If yes, perhaps they gave you a US spec car with the newest local US dealer add-on, "Trump Conditioning". Don't worry, this will pass once your dealer recognizes what's going on and threatens to hit you with a special tariff for bringing it to his attention. In the future, just shut up and accept your lot in life. After all, you should be happy that you're aren't living in one of those "sh--hole" countries, like Belgium.
