25k miles / year. Is that possible with the i8?

Has anyone else bought this i8 to drive about 25000 miles every year?

Annual mileage

Don't know why not. With 25k/yr think of all the fuel you'll be saving in the i8. It's built to drive. Let us know how things progress and if you discover any M&R issues. Good luck and happy motoring.

I've had mine 5 days and already driven 868 fantastic miles

Showing average 35.6 mpg

I drove 300 miles yesterday (mostly motorway) and found it a superior drive than the 640d m sport (2012 version) I had previously.

All in all, it's a tremendous motor car!

It's costing me around £40 per 300 odd miles

What residual value do you expect after 3 years?

I feel if you were lucky enough to pay MSRP you could drive the car for a year and get almost all you money back - possible?

I drive around 50 000 km a year (31 000 miles) and i8 is my primary car. So yes, my mile expectancy is quite close to 30 000 with i8. 1/3 of that arctic winter...

I've now driven 2750 miles, my total consumption is 48.1 mpg

It's the most unbelievable piece of engineering.

A city smart car
A motorway warrior
A weekend wizard

Just fantastic

Plus, it must get photographed five times every day! Crazy response from people!
