i3 click in steering system

I have a 2014 i3 REx. When turning the wheel at low speeds I hear clicking and a bit of squeaking from the steering system. Have other people had this problem, or is it normal vehicle operation? Thanks for the help!

Found this on another i3 forum...

On the service checklist:

"Steering noise in low temps. Fix: Lube spring pads via SIB 31.06.14."

Yep had it told the dealer of the lubing but they replaced them instead and the squeaking is back.

Just talked to the dealer. My car was different from others because it also clicked. Others' apparently just squealed or squeaked. So they are replacing the entire steering shaft to remedy the problem. Will keep you all updated on whether that does the trick, but first I have to wait 3 days for the part to come in.
