Beautiful. But electric cars really do not charge me up enough to consider one. Great design though and hopefully it will be offered in an M version.

So what does that make an Aston Martin?
A beautiful female super model who can lift 600 lbs?

If you take it literally, sure. But what I meant related to applying a metric to something that it was never meant to be measured against.

i.e. I wouldn't complain about a 991 GT3's lack of suspension travel making it useless for a rock crawl. I wouldn't complain that a MP4-12C doesn't have enough space to move furniture, etc. The i8 isn't intended to be direct successor to the M1, it's meant to be a hybrid that people who like sports cars would actually be interested in driving. Of course, if you want a hybrid that's faster than the i8, you can always pony up another $700k-1million+ for a Porsche 918, McLaren P1, or a LaFerrari.
