The individual cells are the same as those in an i3. Bmw have also commited to using the same cell dimensions as they develop their batteries so that in the future you can replace old with new. In reality the cells will get more powerful, so you should be able to replace the i8 battery with less cells to reduce the weight of the car or with the same number of cells for greater output. I did my research before committing to buy. |
