Wrapping blue exterior pieces frozen gray (I was told by LA shop it won't match?

A custom shop Ive used before in LA said its best to use 3M frozen gray wrap and are trying to charge over $400 to wrap the small 6 exterior pieces in gray. Then they told me it won't be an exact match?

I would think that a decent shop can color match these to bmw oem frozen gray for less?

Thx

Shop around then? TBH, not sure why you'd care if it's an exact match. Pick whatever frozen gray *you* like. It doesn't need to match any other part on the car itself.

That is true. I'm just OCD about having 1 single custom exterior change on a car. I either keep it stock or not. Would be interesting to play with the different grays though and I guess it can always be removed

$400 to wrap those little pieces. What the actual fuck I got my entire door rewrapped once and the installer charged me $100 for it. What a joke of a shop.

Looking at 3M or Avery satin and matte gray....trying to decide what looks good since it will never be the same as stock frozen gray accents. Any suggestions?

Car is white

Leaning towards the satin

3M Satin dark gray: https://www.flickr.com/photos/monste...in/photostream

Avery satin Pearl Nero which is a bit darker: http://www.wensco.com/ecomm_images/m...mpleg_nero.png

Anybody have an opinion on which will look best on a white car's accents?
