I like white.
Silver seems like a color you’d paint a Buick. |

for the same price, my options were '15 silver with 4k miles or '14 white with 13k miles. after seeing both in person, i went white and don't regret it one bit.

The silver reminds me of the DeLorean.
In early 2014 BMW set up shop at the Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica with 6 i8s and sent them out several times a day with invited drivers over a route to Malibu and over the Santa Monica Mountains that took them by my house. (The cars all had Georgia license plates; I don't know why.) All the cars were silver. And they reminded me of a fleet of DeLoreans. BMWs have always looked great in white. The i8 is no different.

I just bought a protonic blue i8 from GA a month ago. Protonic blue is a striking color, and it was discontinued. So for re-sale value (as you inquired in your OP), I would argue the more rare color is best for resale.

Ehhh dont know about that its a matter of opinions. I personally think its the worse color on the i8 (please dont take it the wrong way just IMO) now regarding re-sale value its an i8 (not a P1) and the market value right now is at 7x-9xk used on these cars so the rare color is not going to fly..

Both white and silver look amazing. Just like white and silver look great on the high end 911's. German faithful colors.
