i3 mirrors fold in function

I have figured out how to fold in the BMW i3 mirrors but they seem to lose adjustment in that process. Is that a normal behavior or should they return to the same place adjustment-wise?

Thanks,
Richard L.

Mine have always stayed adjusted when they have been folded in and back out again.

Just checked mine (I hardly ever close the side mirrors) - mirrors returned to the starting position.

If yours fail to do that, it may be appropriate to bring this up with your dealer's service department to be investigated under warranty.
