Calif HOV sticker placement
Hi all, I leased my i3/rex in February and finally received my green HOV stickers (long boring story). My interest is what is the minimum placement that folks have found to work.
I noticed today walking around that none of the cars I saw with stickers had front bumper or front quarter placed stickers. Some had large on rear bumper/small and rear quarter panel and others vice versa though the latter is what is called for. Given the near 45 degree angle at the lower rear panel behind the tire I was thinking I might just place one sticker there (and the small one at that). I have never had a bumper sticker, parking sticker, college sticker, or ANY sticker on my car so even with the advantages I am reluctant to add anything more than absolutely necessarily. Thanks for any insights. Cheers, George

I put the large one in the rear quarter glass. Fits nicely. I put the small sticker below the i3 emblem in the corner. I did not place any on any painted surfaces front/side/rear.

Thanks for the recommendation. I placed a single large one as noted in my original question. In a drive a couple days ago it seemed ok so I will go with that for a bit and see how it goes. Cheers, George

I bet you it doesn't really even matter. I mean, who is going to mistaken an i3 or any Tesla for anything but a EV? I used to drive in the carpool lane without the sticker while I was waiting for these to arrive and had no problems (maybe just luck tho haha).
