Insane qoutes from local dealers, best so far is only 4.5% off sticker, and $2465 lease rebate.

The best offer I got was $1500/mt including CA tax and safelease. 36mts, 10k miles per year, zero down. 2017 with msrp $146k. I ended up trading in my Cayman S and buying a '14 CPO

1500 with 0 down on a brand new '17 is solid. Was this a Bay Area dealership?

Were they willing to negotiate well for the '14?

Yes, Bay Area. They didn't negotiate at all on the CPO price. It was part of the Sonic Auto Group that offers no hassel pricing. The i8 was actually at BMW of Beverly Hills and they shipped it up for free. It was priced the lowest in the nation on the BMW CPO search and I was given a good price on my trade-in. Picked it up on Thursday. Very happy with the deal. Thanks Alec at Stevens Creek BMW!

What a difference a year makes, last year at this time the 36/10 residual was 65%.

Exactly.

I have one at my store now (Protonic Black) and they are selling it for $20K off sticker. It's a great deal but obviously nothing like it was last year. And you won't see lease deals on the i8's like that ever again. If anyone is interested in that one, just shoot me an email Ghetto2315@aol.com and I would be happy to help a forum member.

Each market may have a different options but in the Eastern Market, the 10K mileage term per year is the lowest. Only 7,500 miles exist for the 7-Series leases.

Any chance the residuals/incentives ramp up on leftover 2018's since the LCI Coupe and Roadster have been announced?

Just realized they haven't made any MY18's.... and I'm a Center Employee

I would expect them to skip MY18 and release the MY19 in Summer/Fall 2018.

Newbie here. I would really appreciate some advice. I am communicating with a dealership and they are offering a lease for $1350/mo with $20k down. They are calling this a special deal.

Here is the description:** MSRP $155,895 * Sale Price $147,540* * Loaded 2017 "Protonic Frozen Black Edition i8 *Disclaimer:** 36 Month * 10K Miles Per Year * $20,000 Down + Drive Off * * Includes BMW Lease Credit of $2,465 * **

What do you think is a fair/good deal? Thank you in advance.

LOL 20k down???? Never put that much down on a lease. Always aim for least amount possible- to no drive off.

That is a terrible deal, and probably felt they could pull a fast one on you. Glad you posted it here before you signed.

That's not just a bad deal, it's offensive. If I were selling cars I would never eff over one of my clients with a $20k down lease.

There are still quite a few 2017s sitting out there, and the LCI will be here in a few months. That means great lease deals on leftover 17s this spring. (assuming BMW continues lease support)

So if you're in a position to wait, wait. My current lease is up in June. If lease deals are good in the Spring I'll grab a 2017 and do another 2 year lease.
