ugly wheels and base brakes... not sure on the headlights meeting the grill on a flat edge and no detail like the f30 has.

I'm just not excited about this car anymore. Theres nothing special about it to me... Yes it has great performance for a far with 78mpg but still with a form factor like that I'm not daily driving it which is the only time fuel economy matters.
On top of that I daily drive an M... Wtf is gas mileage! |

Meh... This car isn't even out yet and I'm already sick of it. It's like the new Camaro, and how its concept was around for what felt like a decade before it actually came out.
$150k for a 3 cylinder is nuts. The tesla doesn't cost anywhere near that and it's a full EV, which makes the i8's ~70 mpg irrelevant. The i8 seems like a compromise that brings the worst of all worlds together: high price, low power, and it STILL needs gas. Driving dynamics you say? The jury is still out, but I wouldn't count on this feeling like a sports car, let alone a sports car from this price range. Expect engine noise from the speakers. Oh, and it's ugly. |

This car has already lost the battle to Tesla even before it is released. I would say, BMW, fold and eat the loss. 78 mpg ? when the Tesla doesn't even require gas. Tesla seems to have better performance, 4-doors, and appears much better looking. Also, costs half of this car. Not sure who is going to buy this.

Needs an S65 + electric motor...
And Teslas are freaking unbelievable. I nearly shat my pants when I got to ride in my buddy's. Such innovation, style, performance, value.

I like the look if it and it has an angry insecty kind of noise to it.
Would be highly surprised though if we don't see some form of super car spin off from it... I think a lot of people won't be convinced given the price and what else you could buy: something quicker plus an economical daily driver |

we'll see how it stacks up against the Tesla counterparts. I'm starting to see model S's around the DC area. Nice looking cards with solid performance for $84k.
