Painted/greyed side reflectors

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Has anyone painted or greyed their side reflectors? I think they stand out too much. I've never actually done this to one of my cars. I'd appreciate any insight into the process (i.e. Does a company make them or do I need to find a custom shop, etc?).

I'm assuming there is some impact on insurance?

Only if you're in an accident and the lack of reflectors is deemed to have been responsible.

Mine are wrapped, but we forgot to disconnect the bulbs prior to wrapping them and now the lights shine through the wrap at night which I must admit looks kind of cool.

The sliver of light is kinda cool, but I still coded mine out. I believe you'll have a check bulb error without it plugged in.

ind sells painted ones, OEM core.

Have you guys color coded the reflectors on the rear bumper also? Curious to see how this looks. Feel like it might give it a more clean look.

Don't stop there! Blacking out the rear tail lights is another way to give the car a clean look. I don't understand why today's cars have all these so-called "safety" devices.

Dont have the side indicator/reflector things on uk cars or euro cars either i think. Funny really that you have them in the US when your roads are so long and straight compared to here!

Have you ever driven in the US, mate? American drivers generally have no idea what they are doing.
