Car only charges to 14 miles now. Is this normal?

It seems that when I first got my car (little over a month ago), it was charge to 21-22 miles range (something around there).

Now, it only charges to 14 miles.

Is this normal? I'm guessing that there was a software upgrade that changed the charging range?

I did notice that while it would charge to 21-22 miles range, that first 6-7 miles would fall off within a few minutes.

Anyone else see this?

My best guess is that it's a result of your driving habits. Just like the indicated fuel range changes when you drive harder. Don't know what the algorithm is and how much of the driving history it takes into account. But if you want to humor yourself: feather-foot the car in full e-mode. Drive it as carefully as you possibly can until the battery is empty. I'd expect (a) you'll see that the charge actually lasts more than 14 miles, and (b) when you charge it up after that, it will show more range.

I have noticed that too . I know we can drive up to 37 kilometers maximum in electric mode but I can get no more than 25 kilometers according to the indicator

Before mine went into the dealers last month, I was getting 14-16 mile indicated e-range.

When I got it back from the dealer after a battery swap (12v battery, not the main traction battery), presumably this involved some kind of 'reset' and the range jumped to 22 miles.

It's now back to 15 after a couple of days.

I suspect the algorithm that predicts range initially expects you to drive like a vicar hence the longer range, but after a few miles of 'real' driving it gets more accurate.

Chances are, you've had a reset before you bought it or it's new and just acting normally?

Mine is between 12 to 17 every time. Usually 14 to 16. And it never shows all dark blue on the bar Always light blue at the end.

I believe the light blue is just a highlight to make it easier to see where the bar ends. Fuel gauge does the same in yellow.
