Jacking up an i8

Hi all,

Is there a special adapter needed for jacking up the i8? I've had a look under mine and it looks like some odd long plastic things where the jacking points would be.

Also in the UK have people had there tyres replaced by BMW or by an independent/mobile tyre company and have you had any issues with lifting the car to do this (if not by BMW)?

I had my fronts replaced a few weeks ago. I use a local independent and they jacked it up just behind the wheel arch without issue.
