New 20"gloss Black Wheels

Just switched the wheels and tires on my i8. What do you guys think? Since the car is silver and have a lot of gloss black accents I figured gloss black wheels will make sense.
Window tint and wrap coming soon

Looks great. I'm always amazed what the right set of wheels can do for a car.

Looks Awesome!

Love the new wheels!

I'm in Atlanta also, currently driving an M6 considering an I8. Your thoughts on both cars would be appreciated...Thanks!

Thanks. Both M6 and i8 are great cars. M6 is more powerful and drives really well. I feel like i8 is a bit more stiff in sport mode.
i8 feels much lighter and agile compare to M6 also i8 is easier to turn in tight spaces.
M6 steering feels much heavier.
Few cons compare to M6:
No memory seats or power adjustable steering.
No lane departure warning.
Hard to get in and out but you can learn quickly and then it's ok.
Overall thoughts:
I personally like i8 better. It just feels more special and you just cannot beat it on the design alone.
It's a great daily driver. I think you will be happy if you get one. Go to Global Imports and test drive one if possible.
Do you ever attend caffeine and exotics car show? Great place to meet car people and check out the cars.

Thanks for the great response!

I'm looking at a 2015 at United BMW:
- Protonic Blue, Carum Spice Grey
- 6,500 miles
- Pure Impulse World
- $88k
- 1 year unlimited mile warranty after 4year/50,000 miles expires

Should test drive this weekend...

Nice!
What widths are the wheels? Id be afraid of rubbing on the rear going over the bumps and such where I live.

Great. Good luck and negotiate well before you pull the trigger.

Thanks. I stayed with 20" wheels. So the tires are wider but I have no issues with bumps.

Yeah they look great with gloss black wheels I did my originals in the same colour, just makes the car look meaner and more purposeful!

20 X 8.5 front and 20 x 10 in the back. I am not sure about the offset will check it with my wheel guy and will let you know by tomorrow.

Thanks , thinking of going same setup with 20's. I like more rubber especially in the northeast. Any pics from the rear ? Curious to see if the rims protrude out or flush against the fender. Also hows the weight compared to stock? Hope its the same if not lighter.

Not sure about the weight on these wheels. Here is an image from the back. These do have a lot more rubber compared to the the 22" setup.
