i3 120 and i3 120 Rex?

Hello
Over on the X3 forum, there is a post about the upcoming pipeline for BMW. Under i3, it lists 120 and 120 REX. I presume that this is the 120 Ah battery. I have not seen any other announcement of that. Could it be that the 2019's will offer the BIG battery? This would suggest 160 mile range EPA!

BMW has to have a bigger battery to compete with the Bolt, new Leaf, and Model 3.

Are you sure they weren't referring to the upcoming X3i variants? (Electric version of the X3)

They were listed under the i3 heading, so I don't think so.

Can't wait for the X3e or X3i myself. May be my next car. Only problem is that my first choice, X3i (all battery), won't be here in 12 months, when my X3D comes off lease. It does look like the X30e will be available, which would take care of my around the town errands.

Bigger Battery now not a rumor

Hello Timefor

I had not seen that before. I guess its old news. It never showed up on this forum. Probably have to wait to the middle of the year to get the 120 Ahr/43 KwHr battery. I agree with all that say drop the Ahr rating and get with everyone else with KwHr or Kwh if you wish.
