Oh my. I agree, its ok the system, but i came from a simply amazing system in my Jag XJ Portfolio, everything as they say is relative and this is relatively disappointing, especially when you pay a four figure sum for an upgrade (in the uk).

For info, and me being one of the least disappointed people, i tend to plug in my phone rather than stream via Bluetooth and mainly use downloaded itunes music. I think the source / connection makes a lot of difference.

Streaming spotify won't give the best results!

I hear that Tidal is excellent as a music source but I don't have it. Anyone tried?

Agree with you about the quality of downloaded iTunes music. It is very high quality and helps the HK system sound much better. Not sure it makes much of a difference between Bluetooth and USB connection, as the data rates of Bluetooth are pretty high.

Haven't tried Tidal, though I understand one of the streaming speed options is hi-def audio. Probably higher quality than most people require outside of true audiophiles and it kills your wireless data plan. I use Amazon music, streaming at 320 kps, and it sounds almost as good as my downloaded iTunes music.
