She's here, immediately brought it to my wrap guy who's a close friend of my cousin. full wrap including tints all around. Going satin black with some pinstriping around the existing gloss black accents. Also plan to either powdercoat or paint the wheels gloss black

Existing gloss black accents? Looks like gray accents to me. In fact it looks exactly like my car as it was delivered to me in November 2014.

$2200 is not bad at all for a full wrap. Satin black will look really nice. What color pinstripes are you going with. Black wheels will also make a big difference.

Where are you located? Pinstripes go on the car after the wrap is finished so look at the car and see how you like it with just satin black and then add the stripes as needed.

NYC, you? i held off on the striping for now. 35% tints all around including the windshield, going to be bad ass

I think I'm gonna leave the wheels alone, the brushed clear matches the brushed grill that I left I unwrapped and I think the factory finish is very nice

I've never had tinting done before, but am planning to do so with my 2019 i8 (Crystal White Pearl with frozen grey accents) when it arrives next month. Speaking to a local tint company, they are recommending 3M Crystalline 40 or 3M FX Premium 25 (for all windows except the windshield).

Also curious as to why you had the front license plate installed. Are they really strict about that in NY?

Hey man, thanks. Its 35% all around, did the windshield too but took it off bc I couldn't see. Getting old and my eyes aren't perfect so it wasn't safe imo. Not sure which product, a friend of the family did it for a cheap price so I didn't care to ask
