The Lamborghini Huracan and BWM i8 look really similar, if any one has noticed. BWM should throw an updated V10 S85 in the i8 and go against the Huracan!

It seems like every time I turn around, there is some new Lambo with a crazy name. And they all look somewhat similar, just barely different enough to call themselves a different model.
I can see the resemblance in the overall general shape of both, but when reviewing the details on closer inspection, they are quite different looking. The Lambo is much more aggressive while the i8 appears more refined. |

I think adding big wide rims and tires to either the i8 or i3 would come with a major performance penalty. Doesn't seem like something a smart person would do...

Yeah, kind of missing the point. But hey, if someone wants to mod their i8 to completely undermine a major reason you buy one (E9x M3 performance with 80+ mpg) then more power to them. It's at the opposite end of the spectrum where GM announces a new H1 Hummer and companies start doing speculative renders of a track-day model.
I think the after-market is going to find a harder time than they think with modifying them. How many cars have two mechanically independent drive-trains that need to balance their speeds to maintain traction/control? etc |
