What is the Invoice price of the 2014 REX?

Trying to figure out how much of a discount I can get off MSRP by paying up from US Invoice. Anyone know the number? Or how much should I expect to discount off a 2014 REX percentage wise?

TIA!

We got way below invoice since invoice is not what the dealer really pays for the car.

More cars they move the bigger the discount.

All together received 6700 off msrp but have heard ranges even getting to 10 grand off msrp but that's with help from BMW.

So what is the bottom-line "dealer cost" for 2014 i3-REX?
If I wanted to pay "dealer cost" + $1K, what would be my offer?

I tried to do that like how we are all doing it F80/2 style, but the i3 is a bit more complicated b/c there are state/federal/BMW rebates in play and not enough insider info to allow us to make those kinds of deals.

I believe there is $7,500 in Federal rebate money which $5,500 is passed back to the leasee if you are looking to lease. BMW had some other credits in March/April for $2500 I believe. There is probably some backend money as well at play to get rid of the remaining 2014s. Good luck. I felt I got a good deal with MSRP at $54250 and I got $12830 off after all said and done.

Good luck!

Yea it's complicated, by discount I was talking of the dealer and what they pay. More cars they buy and move the larger the discount for them. The invoice price nowadays is just used as another seller tactic to show you what a deal your getting when their making still a sizable profit. So you never really know. At a minimum you should be able to get 5k off msrp without including all the other incentives.

The maximum around here was 10k off msrp without incentives but that was with BMW's help as that was below cost for the dealer.

Thanks guys.
I'm at MSRP -7.5K already (5.5K BMW "lease case" and 2.0K "build out cash"). Then truecar lists i3-REX MSRP as 3.6K markup over whatever invoice they are tracking. That's -11.1K of known margin under MSRP.

I'm sure there is more, but there I'm getting into murky waters of rebates, hold-backs, back-end money, and what not.
