Parking Distance Control question
Looks like PDC shows up under standard features for the i3, but then it's listed again under the Parking Assistant Package? Is the standard PDC just rear, and the PAP PDC both front and rear?

I'm pretty sure that's the case. In addition to the front sensors in the package, you get some on the sides so it can measure the distance between obstacles so it can judge if the car can be parallel parked there. That package also includes the rearview camera.
In the next year or so, federal regulations will require a rear-view camera in all vehicles and light trucks. |
