Ditto. I have gone out of my way twice to drive one. I just saw a $399/month lease billboard.

It is a fun car to drive.

Great post as an accident investigator, brother of a fireman & possible owner. I just need to drop it off at the dealer for a diesel when I take road trips. Thanks.

Very cool look at how problems I hadn't thought of are being test.

It does seem less than ideal to have to get a mask onto possibly severely injured people before being able to cut them out. I wonder if they will find an acceptable alternative to this like possibly a vacuum of sorts to hell pull the dust out of the air while cutting?

Lets be serious - no-one will be distributing masks, or vacuuming anything during emergency extraction.

There will be dust in the air (from airbags), possibly broken glass, smoke, and yet more dust from cutting whatever vehicle panels and plastic paneling are in the way of extracting the occupants. Inhaling some CF dust the cost of doing business.
