Time to move on from I8

Well I’ve had my I8 now for a year and loved every minute, but I’ve now test driven the R8 610ps and wow it just blows you away and makes the I8 seem so timid the handling is absolutely fabulous. So if anyone interested in a 16 plate I8 10,500 miles give me a shout my car hasn’t got a mark on it and has got lots of extras Claire

Let us know how you like the R8 v10 plus. I myself is thinking about getting that one next.

Is it leased or financed?

I am not an Audi fan (far from it), but you can trade in after only a year?

It’s neither financed or leased, I usually only keep my cars a year or two been the same all my life. I love cars and then just want the next step up mind you after a R8 don’t think I could step up from that car from performance & handling point of view

The r8 will have more performance but will be far less comfy and more expensive to run. I think that it looks dated too. Why no mcl?

To me the r8 is more comfy but much much more expensive to run. The Porsche Mission E I think will be a strong alternative.

I was on the same boat a couple months back.. the i8 was not lacking in any department great car, great daily driver but ended up switching due to my sickness of car boriness LMAO

but all jokes aside i was looking at the r8, 570s and the NSX.. ended up with the NSX and i am loving it !!!

quick pic for you...

I will let you know whether the Mission E is a worthy alternative by next year, provided my deposit and allocation contract holds any weight. Fingers crossed!

Just to be clear, I plan on keeping the i8 but will be parting with the 650i GC.

I'm on the list for Mission E too, but if I do get it, it will replace my i8.

I will only get it if it is significantly superior.

I don't think Mission E production model will look as good as the concept. I hope it comes out nice.

I enjoyed driving the i8 for the first two years or so. And then it bored ther sh*t out of me. Moved on to an AMG GT and have been happy with that decision for the last 6 months (as of tomorrow).

I’m considering R8 and Mission E if I don’t get into another i8

The R8 is a beast...but I don’t miss less frequent trips to the gas station right now since I DD the i8

NSX had some amazing leases too...wild card

Hi Claire

I am looking for a 2016-17 i8 in grey or silver with black or halo interior and with HK audio.

Can you advise how your i8 compares please?

Thanks

Barry
