Looks great, except for the ones with the nasty blue trim. That looks like something a teenager would buy on eBay to stick on his car. Does adding the blue also get you blue LED light pipes on the bottom to make it glow at night? I hope those who are fortunate enough to buy one of these great cars will have the sense and class to forgo the blue trim!

Sorry, but much prefer the R8!!! Just so much cleaner looking.. Oh, and it comes with a V10!
If you really had the money, would you have a hybrid with a tiny engine or a V10?!?
And...the back of the i8 just looks a mess.. Oh dear, not the "supercar" from BMW I was hoping for

Long live the M1

Really?
Have the i8 and the R8 sit next to each other. Instantly the R8 will look old and dated.
The body style of the i8 is just too extreme to compare against any normal cars.

I was going to respond but couldn't make it sound good, you did a great job saying exactly what I was thinking.

Happens to me all the time, that cars look utterly ugly on photo, but in real life instead are evidence of true tasteful contemporary design. Like the X1, or 5 series for instance. The X1 can look weird and ugly on picture, but become more interesting in person. The 5 series look overweight and cluttered on picture, but sleek and elegant in real life. The opposite can also apply to cars that look good on picture (read: Audi, Lexus, etc.) instead are looking rather very plain and without character in real life.

Wow! Looks amazing! Hybrid/3 cylinder or not, it definitely looks expensive, even in front of that vanquish.

Look at that brake dust on the front of the black one. Must have had a blast darkening the front rims. The backs are still shiney.

The white i8's rims look a lot like the MKV GTI's Huff rims.

Yeah I am not a fan of those. I prefer the rims on the black i8. I also can't wait until BMW reveals the CFRP rims option that will be available, as pending how they look, that would be my first choice.

This would be a lovely supercar with mid-engine. But wait.. it's a hybrid with a pricetag of a Porsche!
