I just placed an order for a JuiceBox Pro 40. Hope to have it next week. Then scheduling electrician to wire it up.
Anyone have any experience?

I just installed one last week. Very straightforward and works awesome. Set a departure time and you can program it to use the Time of Use schedule from SCE. I charge from 12-5am and always come out to a full car. You can even set preconditioning to warm or cool the car while it's plugged in although I haven't used that yet.

I am now up and running. Too early to give valid results. Will keep you all posted.
The software/app was straight forward. The purchase and responsiveness of the company have been outstanding so far.

I've heard lots of positive responses to the juice box 40.
It's too bad most homes in the US can't get 3-phase electricity. That really speeds things up when it comes to charging. |

There's an extensive review of the JuiceBox Pro 40 here:

I have been up and running for 1 week.
JuiceBox is working as it should. I am VERY pleased that it allows me to set the schedule of charging for use during what LA DWP calls the "Base Period" (M-F 8pm to 10am and all day Sat and Sun).

You can set your car to do that too. You just need to enter a departure time.
BTW, not sure if they offer it where you are, but I signed up for a Time of Use plan that dropped my overnight use substantially. You might look into it if you haven't already. EDIT: looks like you're on the one they offer. Last edited by VacMan1; 04-16-2017 at 12:17 PM.. |

I took this from the above listed article. I would like to be able to know this information.
"This allows for real time charging monitoring which includes voltage and current measurement accurate to 0.2%. This is the only EVSE I know of currently available which allows you to monitor this kind of charging data. I know a lot of EV owners, and one of the things that keeps coming up is people asking how they can find out what the car is drawing during charging." |
