This was definitely a glowing review. He gets bonus points for doing his research, mentioning real actual facts about the car, and all 3 power sources.

I watched a KBB review that had so many facts wrong, it wasn't worth posting even.

The footage and editing in this XCAR review really is what makes it stand out from the rest though. You can tell they put effort into differentiating from other reviews, and focused on filming lots of details of the car, flying buttresses, interior ambiance, and more.

The interior shooting with the lighting package detail in the early parts of the video are some of the cleanest, nicest interior footage of the i8 that I've seen to date. Plus all of the footage at sunset is simply beautiful.

Definitely worth a watch.

OP, thanks for posting!

Ya know.... Idc how cool it looks or how many people praise it, I'll just never be able to get over those skinny tires!

I just have a problem with the reviewer calling it the "next thing" when the car starts at $138K. Its not a car for the masses. Now when the Tesla Model 3 comes out, now that will be the "next thing".

In the US (where you can only get the wider tires), the contact patch is close to an E90 M3's due to the i8's larger diameter and the i8 weighs 300-400lbs less (depending on spec).
