Click on the CC icon, then go into the settings (cog icon) > Subtitle > Auto Translate > new menu appears for other languages.

They couldn't possibly have designed the mirrors better or at least mount them somewhere else where they aren't sticking out like twigs?

Since you've mentioned it, every time I see those tiny side mirrors, I can't seem to get the image of those tiny tRex arms out of my mind!

good idea but might be very impractical in the snow or rain if the cameras get covered . same can happen to mirrors but not to the same extent as a small camera

This is actually an answer to a Q nobody asked for.
But it's here, and it looks very interesting!
Finally something new and exciting and not to crazy, it's a useful feature.
Volvo would kill to be the first with this.

I'm not sure i will get used to it.
It's natural that I will look right or left side when I notice things and side mirrors be there to assist me.

Now i have to rely more and more on wire.
If i have to park my car with no power, I think I have to keep my head spin around like a bird to make sure that I can see bad guy who try to break into my car from rear side window.

My 2 cents

It looks cool though

Ya I agree, it looks cool and probably is cool, but there's simply no need to fix what's not broken. This looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen if anything were to malfunction.

But how are all of the women going to be able to put on their makeup and the men shave in the morning if they don't have a rear view mirror?

Not yet mentioned is that this system would require the driver to refocus their eyes on the flat plane of the mirror display, rather than maintaining distance focus which you can for a quick glance in a mirror (despite the reflection).

In other words, it's a step backwards considering all the effort expended on Heads-Up Displays which deliberately project at a distance.

This is one of the major elephants-in-the-room for Augmented Reality systems, and has yet to be solved properly, at least definitively (look up Magic Leap).

Unless we get AR glasses which can project variable-focus images directly onto our retinas, I take all this stuff with a huge pinch of salt...

The BMW HUD helmet is pretty close.

Yes just to think there would be no more pointless debate about mirrors.
