Hi,

Just trying to figure out the reason for this and if anyone else has experienced it.

For the first 10 mins or so from driving my i8 in the morning the car has a massive power kick in 1st and mostly 2nd gear. The wheels almost spin from the 'kick' when changing up to 2nd.

It doesn't happen at all after the car is warm or being used throughout the day during long use.

Any ideas?

Don't think I have experienced that. Does the kick come from the front end or the back end?

I've not experienced it either. But then, I do drive the car gently for the first 5 miles of ICE use, to warm it up.
