Estimated time for charge finish is always wrong
Here’s a perfect example. Currently on a road trip and charging to 100% for it.
Right now 11:21am and at 98% charge but car is still saying 100% at 11:44 when realistically it will be 100% in a few minutes |

Yep, this is a common and known issue. There were a couple recent threads, but I could not find them. This is really simple match, so it is a bit of a head-scratcher that the car should be so wrong.

As mentioned above, a known issue mentioned on other threads. Just wait, though, because those last two percent can take a loooong time.

I know it under estimates the charging time when using lvl2 charging at home. I believe it is that they overestimate the time required to meet the set charge level because the actual power output of your lvl2 charger can fluctuate over time. Notably, the voltage can fluctuate which lowers the kW output. So in order to never disappoint you, they adjust the estimate of when it will reach the target SOC. The few times I noticed it on charges that needed at lease a couple of hours or more, the adjustment always seemed to be in the 30 minute range. |

“Right now 11:21am and at 98% charge but car is still saying 100% at 11:44 when realistically it will be 100% in a few minutes”, is what was said, correct?
If the car is finished in a few minutes that means before 11:44, so isn’t it finishing earlier? Or else I am missing something and probably shouldn’t be drinking so early. |
