Some more BMW i3 videos for your consumption. Jacob Benoit, head designer of the BMW i3 talks about the car and gives a walk-through of the vehicle. Also some extra B-roll footage from the NYC debut of the i3.

The BMW i3 will be making its world public debut at the IAA Frankfurt auto show in September. It will go on sale in the US market in the second quarter of 2014 and starts with a base MSRP of $41,350, before any federal or state incentives, and before Destination & Handling fee.

For full details on the i3, see our Official Thread.

A beautiful car....took me awhile to get used to the new design language of the i3. Benoit's presentation is very informative-
usually I squirm through these presentations by the lead designer. Not this time. Worth watching.

Still trying to get used to it. Electric car with no power seats (I know it saves weight, but still) I do like the rear window design that allows for children to get a better view. But I don't know if I would put my kids in there. I am truly impressed with the carbon fiber construction. Maybe this will be the way the next generation of M cars Frames could be built?
