Jeremy Clarkson has published his list of the top 100 cars of 2013, and the BMW i3 has placed first, i8 second, and the 3 Series second, in their respective categories of Electric Cars/Hybrids, Supercars, and Family/Estate Cars.

The other three BMW models to crack the 100 list were the 7 Series (8th place in Executive category), the 5 Series (10th place in the Executive category) and the X3 (9th place in SUV category).

The M135i should have been best hot hatch!

The i8 in supercar category?

They got a pic of the X5 instead of the X3 there.

But then he doesn't really need the money. He already has enough. I think it's hard to bribe Top Gear.

While he prefers his Merc's, Jeremy usually calls it as it is with BMW's - if they're good, he'll give his praise and if not, well, go no further than his opinion on the BMW X6.

It's not Jeremy's list - he didn't pick the cars or the order. The Sunday Times (who run the Driving website and print the supplement every week) just deceptively put him all over it to make it appear so, in a bid to sell more papers and create more interest.

The list was actually compiled by three staff writers for the Driving supplement. I'll post their names once I have the paper to hand.

I suggest the admin changes the thread title to something like 'Driving's Top 100 Cars'.

All of the British car mags love the F30 over it's rivals including the Lexus. They have a different perspective than the US publications.

Agreed he is alway up bmws ass. An it's a massive contradiction, the i3. ? Are you kidding me this coming from a guy who lauds Lamborghini, gas guzzling an super cars. Its seems totally contradictory to everything he has said about priuses and other cars like that. There is no way he could support the i3 as first place without some kickback/funded bias

Actually a poor showing for the X3 with it behind Volvo, Audi Q5 and Land Rover Evoque.

The current X3 was in the Top Gear "Worst Car in the World" video.

As of late, he has been praising BMW's new cars. Last Top Gear season all three of them said how much they liked the current 5-series. One of best cars for sale right now.

+1

It's evident that this is not Jeremy Clarkson's list.
