Everything is a compromise.
I love driving my heavily modified, appx 575hp E63 M6 which delivers a pretty brutal driving experience with upgraded suspension, brakes, intake, tune, etc. Fuel economy: 9mpg. Sound from tubi x-pipe and section 3: INSANE. I can be heard for almost 2 miles at full chat! I love it.
I also love driving my appx 360hp i8 which delivers a different driving challenge. I enjoy balancing the energy utilization and recovery rates while attempting to maximize performance in that respect AND driving a pretty quick car that garners an almost unhealthy amount of attention. It is a technological tour de force that is a satisfying in every way.
Not quite a prius with a body kit. Not even close.
